Hello Everyone, Welcome to students Space
At a UK university, you will be studying subjects at a higher level, and you will need more than a few weeks of cramming to truly get the hang of a lot of the new information and learning methods you are taking in. Learn more below about what you need to start doing every day to improve your grades and making the most of your UK university course.
Five University study tips-
Research your subject- As a university student you will be expected to research your subjects widely outside the classroom through reading newspaper, magazine, articles and researching online perhaps even the odd academic article.
2. Figure Out what you need- Start thinking about the areas on which you need to improve, and try working on what's holding you back in some of your harder modules.
3. Notetaking- The notes you make in your lectures help you stay on top of things as you progress through your studies. They are a crucial tool when you need to be reminded of key points made in a lecture at the beginning of the semester.
4. Create a healthy working environment - Different study locations suit different people. If you're easily distracted, find yourself a quiet, comfortable corner of the library to settle down in.
5. Time -Do not be too hard on yourself if you do not spend every single hour of the day studying. Divide your day in such a way that you get time to study on your own apart from the seminar and lecture.
